Today is December 30th. Just messing around on the computer after viewing a few blogs with my mom. She and I decided that since I have a huge passion for photography, my mom has decided to meet me halfway and buy me a camera. (I just so happen to be the baby, and the only girl. And yes sometimes it comes in handy!) We will be going to get it tomorrow, from Best Buy. A Nikon D3000. Boy oh boy am I excited. As many of you may know, tomorrow is New Years Eve. One of my best-friend's, Allison, is having a party. And no, for all you mothers out there, NO ALCOHOL is permitted or wanted. We invited most of our grade, of 200 some, and a few seniors. There will be plenty of food and games, singing, dancing, and "crazy-ness." It is a formal party so I bought a few dresses for the occasion. With my new camera, snapping a few of our "fantastic four" will finally be photographed. Fantastic Four is our closest friend group, Me- Katie, H- Hannah, A- Allison, and K- Katelyn. We also go by KAHK. Sort of our inside joke.

--- This is the gang. I am in the top middle, underneath is Hannah, to my right is Kateyln and to the left is Allison
Just to say a few things about life right now... I am a junior, turned 17 this December, and counting down the days to graduate. 516 today to be exact. I am thinking about getting into Social Work, or Child Services, and maybe even something with Child Support. Planning to go to a small community college for the first year or two, and follow up at Southwest State University in Marshall Minnesota. This transition will be hard for I will be leaving behind my mom, Jan, who has Muscular Dystrophy. I take care of her full time not only as her daughter but as her Home Health Aid. She is my truely my best friend, and I know I don't say it enough, but I Love Her! I have two older brothers Nicholas and Daniel. Nicholas lives out in Arizona, and Daniel lives in Minneapolis. They both are unique in their own ways, and have played a huge role in my life and upbringing. They played the biggest part in being my "Father Figures" since my dad is an alcoholic and left when I was young. I am thankful that they took on that position. They did and are still doing an amazing job.Well, that was a bit much for my first post, but I thought I would give you a nibble of what is to come! Hopefully I will place a few pictures in here once I get a little "snap" happy!
